SAVING MONEY AT HOME
Saving money at home doesn't have to mean sacrificing the things you have become accustomed to.It simply requires that you take a look at what REALLY matters, and work from there.
For most of us, the family grocery budget is about the only thing we really have total control over, but when you examine it closely, how much of the money is spent on food, and how much on the other things that we need to run our homes? Finding creative ways of saving money at home can be a challenge, but once you get started, you will find more and more ways to reach your goals. Common household items can be used in a variety of ways to help you save, such as buying an extra large box of baking soda, which can be used for hundreds of jobs around the house. Raising some of your own food, and preserving it is another way of saving money at home, even if your space is limited and you don't have room for a full sized garden. Farmer's Markets are a great place to get fresh produce you can preserve at home if you can't grow it yourself. Plenty of other ways to cut costs will be shown here, as we go along. Laundry, household cleaners, energy bills, and outdoor projects will be covered in these pages. |
